Student Represents Dalton State at Emory

Annalia Ramos, a student leader and a passionate Roadrunner, was one of a few students that attended the STEM Research and Career Symposium at Emory Laney Graduate School.

She and her team had the opportunity to share their research with individuals outside the microbiology field, and were able to learn different skills from other professionals in her field of research. She was also able to share her experiences as a Roadrunner to students in Dr. April Kay's First Year Experience class.

“Thank you, Emory for providing a way to test my presentation skills," said Ramos. "This opportunity really helped me develop the expertise needed to discuss my research findings in a clear and meaningful manner."
